From 1984 to 2001 Todd was involved with 3-D design and development in computer technology and virtual reality software. He has led major Fortune 500 companies in developing leading edge spatial technology geared towards visualizing virtual environments. To date, he jointly holds 12 patents for this technology under numerous company filings.

He and his wife Caroline reside in Laguna Beach, California where Todd paints full-time and owns purelagunabeach gallery.
